"Burning Sensation"
Frieda goes to Akkad's place where the five alarm crew is waiting to take her somewhere; Static steps in and defeats them; Frieda goes home; Virgil asks Larry about asking Frieda out; Larry says he thinks Frieda believes they're just friends; the five alarm crew take Frieda to Hot-Streak; Static battles Hot-Streak, but when he sees his face he stops fighting and is defeated by him.
Virgil Hawkins is a typical 15-year-old high school student in Dakota City…who just happens to have powers that allow him to manipulate electrostatic forces. As Static, Dakota’s newest costumed hero, Virgil fights crime with his own style and flair. But will a sharp costume and an even sharper wit be enough to take down the threat of a superpowered punk named Hotstreak?
